The plumbing on a remodel happens in two visits. Rough-in comes first, while the walls are open and lines can be moved to where the new layout needs them. Trim-out comes after tile and counters, when the fixtures go in and everything has to line up with the drawing. A sloppy rough-in shows up at trim, when it's expensive to fix.

On a slab? That's fine.
A lot of Denver ranches and newer builds sit on a slab. Moving a drain means cutting the concrete, running new line at the right slope, and patching. It's more work than a crawlspace, and it's routine. The trench in the photo above is that job.
Working with your GC
We show up on the scheduled day, get the rough-in inspection passed before drywall, and come back for trim when the tile setter is done. Stub-outs are placed from the fixture spec sheets, so the trim kit fits without shims.
Fixtures: yours or ours
Supply your own fixtures or have us source them. Either way, we need the spec sheets before rough-in. Valve depth and drain location depend on the exact model, and changing it after the wall is closed costs money.
Questions people ask
Can the sink move to the island?
Almost always. The drain needs slope back to the stack and a vent. On an island that usually means a loop vent or an air admittance valve, depending on what the inspector allows. On a slab it also means a concrete cut.
How far ahead should I book?
Call once you have a layout and a rough start date. Rough-ins are scheduled around the GC's timeline, and a few weeks' notice keeps everyone's dates.
Do you pull the permit?
Yes, for the plumbing scope. If a GC is running the job, we coordinate with their permit.
Do you do the tile, cabinets or electrical?
No, plumbing only. We work alongside the other trades on the job, and we can refer you to people we've worked with.
