What clears and what doesn't
A plunger and hot water clear a lot. Chemical drain cleaners clear very little and damage older pipe. If you've plunged and the drain is still slow, the clog is past where you can reach, and that's a cable job.
One drain or all of them
One slow drain is a fixture problem, and that's what we clear. Several drains slow at once, water coming up in the basement floor drain, or a toilet that gurgles when the washer drains points to the main sewer line. Call and describe it. Questions people ask
What if it clogs again?
Some lines are too flat, too old, or too full of grease to stay clear. If we clear a drain and it comes back within a few weeks, the pipe itself is the next conversation, and we'll say so rather than cabling it every month.
Can I put bones and grease down the disposal?
No. Grease cools and sticks to the pipe, bones jam the disposal, and both turn into a drain call. Run cold water, feed it small amounts, and put grease in the trash.
